KASSIDY LANE
PHYSICAL THERAPIST
Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT)
CrossFit Level 1 Trainer (CF-L1)
Kassidy is a Central Valley native whose passion for movement, wellness, and helping people thrive ultimately led her to a career in physical therapy. With a lifelong athletic background—including water polo, swimming, and soccer—she learned early on how empowering the right education and guidance can be. That belief continues to shape her approach with every patient she meets: movement is powerful, healing is possible, and everyone deserves to feel capable and strong in their own body.
After earning her Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology, Pre-Health Sciences from Vanguard University of Southern California, Kassidy went on to receive her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from the University of St. Augustine for Health Sciences in San Marcos, CA. She began her career close to home in Bakersfield but soon felt drawn toward the coast—and toward a clinic whose philosophy aligned with her own commitment to individualized, compassionate, and evidence-driven care.
Kassidy chose DeWitt Physical Therapy for its vision of inspiring a stronger, healthier community and for its mission to deliver exceptional physical therapy and wellness services that help people get back to being awesome. The clinic’s dedication to respect, excellence, curiosity, engagement, integrity, and innovation reflects the values she strives to embody in her work. She is proud to be part of a team that prioritizes meaningful patient partnerships, whole-person care, and a rehab experience that supports an active lifestyle at every level.
Now happily settled in Santa Cruz, Kassidy fully embraces the outdoor, movement-rich environment the area offers. When she’s not in the clinic, you’ll likely find her outside with her growing family on the beach playing volleyball or spike ball, adventuring in the mountains, running local trails, at a CrossFit class, or doing her best to master surfing. She loves exploring new places, staying connected with friends, and soaking up every sunny day.
At her core, Kassidy is driven by a simple mission:to help people move with confidence, feel their best, and keep doing the activities that make life meaningful—a mission that aligns seamlessly with the heart of DeWitt PT.
